Tennessee Republican Representative Andy Ogles boldly presented impeachment articles against President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris this week. The charges are deeply concerning, accusing the top-ranking officials of leveraging their power to safeguard Biden’s family businesses from congressional scrutiny and transparency towards the American public.

Ogles proclaims on social media that Biden and Harris, neglecting their duty to uphold the Constitution, have stained their offices with apparent criminal activities and politicized weaponization. He passionately calls for their alleged misconduct to be justly confronted with the iron hand of the law.

The initial impeachment article pinpoints Biden’s neglect in satisfying several information requests, his implicated involvement in forming financial ploy companies, and alleged meddling in Ukraine’s affairs. Biden campaigned with a vow of transparency and is charged with keeping Congress in the dark.

Specific accusations include withholding Suspicious Activity Reports linked to the Biden family, withholding insight into Hunter Biden’s ties to the CCP, and neglecting to address queries about the Biden family’s purported use of Air Force Two for business transactions involving Chinese parties.

Moreover, the articles shed light on multiple companies supposedly established by Biden’s family members and affiliates. These companies are allegedly vehicles for channeling millions of dollars to the Biden family while disguising the money’s origin, one instance being a lump sum of $1,065,000 from a Chinese firm to a Biden family ally over just three months.

Biden is further accused of delaying the release of a crucial FD–1023 form, relenting only when faced with a congressional subpoena. This form is believed to outline a corruption scheme in which Biden and family members allegedly received $5,000,000 each to assist Burisma Holdings. In this Ukrainian company, Hunter Biden once served on the board.

The second impeachment article suggests that Biden has actively contributed to the crisis unfolding at the southern border, placing American citizens at risk. It underscores the alarming uptick in illegal border crossings and drug seizures and the administration’s apparent negligence in using the powers given by Congress to tackle the situation effectively.

Similarly, Representative Lauren Boebert (R-Colorado) also put forth impeachment articles against Biden, echoing the sentiment that Biden has forsaken his “constitutional duty to secure our southern border.”

Ogles’ impeachment resolution purports that Biden, in light of these allegations, has acted in a manner damaging to public trust and detrimental to constitutional governance, leading to substantial harm to the law, justice, and the American people. It demands his impeachment, trial, removal from office, and disqualification from holding any United States office of honor, trust, or profit in the future.

Ogles confided to Fox News that Biden’s “leadership” was grossly inadequate and breached his constitutional oath. He also implicated Biden in recurrent misuse of his political clout as vice president and president to hide his family’s alleged questionable business endeavors and misuse of public funds.

Asserting the unreliability of the Department of Justice to probe into the supposed corruption of the Biden family, Ogles emphasizes that it falls on the shoulders of U.S. Congress to ensure accountability. However, the outcome of the impeachment articles remains uncertain, given the meager support for Biden’s impeachment among House Republicans.

Regarding Harris, the impeachment articles scrutinize her handling of the southern border crisis. She is charged with incompetence and lack of concern for Americans suffering due to the situation. The reports underscore her refusal to make a proper visit to the border and her failure to address the leading causes of the crisis.

The articles also expose the rise in drug seizures and fentanyl trafficking at the southwest border, drawing attention to public health and safety implications, including drug overdose deaths and migrant fatalities. They argue that Harris’s actions have endangered national security and the Constitution, justifying her impeachment, trial, removal from office, and disqualification from holding any future office of honor, trust, or profit under the United States.

This impeachment resolution arises as Biden faces intense scrutiny from a special counsel investigation. This inquiry explores how Biden handled classified documents following the conclusion of his vice-presidential tenure in 2017.

Ogles and others are emphasizing the need for accountability in our nation’s highest offices. This call to action is underscored by the belief that the Biden-Harris administration has neglected its duty to the Constitution and the American people. As the impeachment articles move forward, they are a harsh reminder of the importance of transparency, accountability, and adherence to the Constitution within our government’s leadership. Despite the uncertainties surrounding these impeachment articles, they demonstrate the resolve of some Republicans to hold our leaders accountable for their actions and decisions.
