Former President Donald Trump has stated that he will not be accepting any kind of plea deal in relation to his current indictments.

At the Iowa State Fair, Trump was asked about reports that he will be indicted in Fulton County, Georgia, and he delivered a fiery message to District Attorney Fani Willis, Mediaite reported.

“Is there any chance you take a plea deal in Georgia?” a reporter asked Trump.

“We did nothing wrong. We don’t ever take a plea deal. We don’t take plea deals. It’s a wise guy question. You’re just a wise guy. “We don’t take plea deals because I did nothing wrong. It’s called election interference,” Trump said.

He once again reiterated he will not cut a deal as he “did nothing wrong.”

“Because these indictments are going out by Biden. Who can’t even put two sentences together. This is Joe Biden. Because he can’t win the election by himself. He can’t win the election based on votes. So what they did is they got the attorney general to do it. And then you see how stupid they acted yesterday with the appointment of the special counsel. They call it special counsel. And what a crazy thing that was. And it’s being laughed at all over the world,” he said.

“The fact is that we have a country that’s in serious trouble. We have a country that’s in major decline. I don’t mean decline, I mean major decline. And we’re going to straighten it out. This group and a lot of people just like this group. We’re going to straighten it out, and we’re going to make America great again. Wise guy,” he said.

Trump has been charged with falsifying business records by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

Two indictments against Trump have been obtained by Special Counsel Jack Smith; one relates to classified documents found at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in South Florida and the other pertains to Trump’s challenges to the 2020 election.

More than a dozen indictments against Trump and others are anticipated to be sought by District Attorney Fani Willis in this case, according to sources who spoke to CNN.

Fulton County Sheriff Patrick Labat has said that Trump will have his photograph taken for a mugshot if he is charged.

“First and foremost, we will follow our own policies and procedures. We simply don’t … give any leniency just because of your status. Ultimately, there may be a court order that his lawyers may ask for, there may be some alternate … processes around it, but we’ll stay focused on our policies and procedures. And if a mugshot is warranted, we’ll follow that policy and procedure as well,” Axios reported.

“And so again, we treat everybody equally,” he said. “We’ve certainly learned from both New York as well as Miami. So, we’ve got a lot of different agencies involved.”

Last week, Willis hit back at Trump after a series of attacks against her.

In an email, she shredded an ad that was running in the local market attacking her and advised her staff not to respond to it.

She also said that prosecutions by her and her colleagues were just “business” and not “personal,” The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

“It is my understanding that an ad was put in the Atlanta market to run between today 8/9 and 8/13 that will have derogatory and false information about me as the District Attorney of the Atlanta Judicial Circuit. Apparently, a lot of money was spent to run this ad in the Atlanta market over the next 5 days. That means the ad will run quite frequently over the next 5 days,” she said.

“Each of you represents me. Especially, ADA’s who all took an oath under my name. We often remind you if you are an ADA you are my personal staff and represent me. Many of you are quite kind to me, very protective, and will become very defensive if someone attempts to attack me, the office, or your colleagues. You may not comment in any way on the ad or any of the negativity that may be expressed against me, your colleagues, this office in coming days, weeks, or months,” the prosecutor said.

“We have no personal feelings against those we investigate or prosecute and we should not express any. This is business, it will never be personal,” she said.
