Houston, Texas – In a tragic incident near a taco truck on Richmond Avenue, a mother is speaking out about the loss of her son Demarco Ewing, who was shot and killed early on Wednesday morning. The mother, Stacie McKnight, is not only grieving the loss but also expressing frustration with the handling of her son’s case.

McKnight shared her heartbreak, describing her son as a respectful young man known as “Marco,” who would have turned 32 on July 9th. She recounted receiving a call from her son’s girlfriend, who relayed a chilling message about a man looking for Marco before he was fatally shot outside the taco truck.

The mother detailed the tragic circumstances of her son’s death, revealing that he was shot multiple times, with the proof of his killing even sent to his girlfriend’s phone. McKnight emphasized that her son did not deserve such a fate, highlighting his positive attributes as a good guy, a mama’s boy, and a dedicated father of three.

Authorities have arrested Rontreyvius Wooten and charged him with murder in connection to Ewing’s death, with surveillance footage playing a critical role in the case. The footage captured Wooten exiting a white car and shooting Marco, leading to some closure for McKnight knowing that one suspect is off the streets.

Despite the developments in the case, McKnight expressed frustration at the lack of information provided by officials, relying instead on details shared by her son’s girlfriend. She appealed to those involved to come forward and urged for closure and justice so that they can all move on from this tragedy.

As the investigation continues, McKnight’s plea for anyone with more information to come forward remains, emphasizing the importance of cooperation in bringing those responsible to justice. For now, the grieving mother is seeking answers and closure, hoping that the truth will prevail in her son’s case.
